Church Worker College Scholarships

It is the policy of Carmel Lutheran Church to award scholarships to disciples of the congregation who pursue the work of our Lord in the areas of preaching, teaching and other ministries of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. Scholarship funds are available to students enrolled in synodical schools. Students who attend the schools of the Concordia University system as well as Valparaiso University will be supported. (The scholarship committee will consider other colleges and universities. In addition, one of the pastors of Carmel Lutheran will interview students attending non-synodical schools to understand the teachings of the school and to understand the student's course of study.)
