Outreach
Jesus said, "...you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth" (Acts 1:8)
In calling us to be witnesses, Jesus also gave each of us a wonderful plan to follow.
It evokes the image of a stone being tossed into the middle of a pond, and then watching the ripples extend to the very edge of the pond.
- Jesus teaches us that outreach should begin right where we are: Jerusalem.
- It should also reach out beyond where we are: Judea and Samaria.
- And it should continue so as to include everyone: the ends of the earth.

In light what Jesus has taught, we join with the Apostle Paul in saying: ...I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some (1 Corinthians 9:22).
