The location of our library, immediately visible as you enter the front door or exit the Sanctuary, is an indication of the importance of providing resource to all ages. We have an excellent selection of books and videos (including Veggie Tales), for pre-school children, youth, and adults. All materials may be checked out electronically and taken home for no charge. Instructions for electronic check out are at the check out desk. Simply go to the check out screen on the computer, scan your family library card that is in the black binder on the desk and scan the barcode in the upper right hand corner of the back of the item you are checking out. Bible stories, Bible study, Christian fiction, personal growth, spiritual growth, parenting, marriage, and growing up, are just a few of the categories available. CLC Small Groups will also find materials in the library that will be helpful for their group studies.
Our library is now a WiFi spot! Access the Internet on your laptop while in the library for research, business purposes, homework, or just checking your e-mail while your kids are enjoying Wednesday afternoon music rehearsals. To access the Internet using the CLC wireless network, see the instructions on the library bulletin board. Forgot your laptop? The library has 3 laptops available for use on Sunday mornings. Just ask your librarian!
Every time you shop at Family Christian Stores (one is on the corner of Carmel Dr. & Keystone Ave.) you can help our church library! Just ask the cashier for Ministry Builders Stamps. (You need to ask, they won't just give them to you.) For each 20 stamps we receive, we get $5 toward merchandise for the CLC library. (These stamps can only be used by church ministries.) You will receive one stamp for every $5 you spend. Just bring in your stamp(s) and put them in one of the boxes located in the library, in the Ministry information area across from the Worship Center, or in the library mailbox located in the Copy Center (next to door #6).
