Valentine Tea
All women are invited to the LWML Valentine Tea on Sunday, January 25, beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the Worship Center. Our speaker will be Elaine Roberts who will speak on "Treasures of the Heart" based on Luke 12:34. Her presentation will include: Spiritual Treasures, Precious People God has Placed in Our Life, and Material Blessings. You won’t want to miss this dynamic speaker! Finger sandwiches, tea cookies, and tea/coffee will be served following Elaine’s presentation. (Pre-teen and teenage girls are welcome to come with their mother, aunt, grandmother…)

Sign-up sheets are by the bulletin boards in the Sanctuary narthex and at the Ministry Center outside the Worship Center. Socks for men, women, and children will be collected to be sent to The Sharing Place and the Ft. Wayne Seminary.

Caring for college students & military
Valentine care packages with lots of goodies will be assembled and sent on Sunday, February 1, to all CLC college students and military who are living away from home. All members of CLC are encouraged to donate home-baked cookies and brownies, packaged soups, hot chocolate, microwave popcorn, candies, and anything else that you know college students love to receive. Last year we barely had enough to fill these boxes, so we definitely need more donations.

If you have a college student or family member in the military, please e-mail that address to Gwyn Borcherding (MizBeeCLC@aol.com). Please call Donna Moffatt (845-2922) or Annette Probst (842-1305) to volunteer to help with this event. Call Pat Nash (844-2329) with information about the donations you plan to make for these packages.
