Annual Chicago bus trip
Reserve your spot for our fifth annual bus trip to Chicago, scheduled for Saturday, November 8. Cost is $47 per person with all profits going to missions. Join us for a day of shopping or museums. Registration and payment deadline is October 27. This will be advertised to the public in early October, so sign up soon at the Welcome Centers. Ladies Daytime Fellowship
Ladies Daytime Fellowship will meet on Friday, October 10, at 12:30 p.m. in room 101B near the new kitchen. All are welcome to attend who want to work on projects for Kids of the Kingdom and Operation Christmas Child. Please bring a pair of scissors and your beverage.
LWML Recognition Days
LWML will be recognized in all services on October 11-12 with information about the giving of mites (mite boxes), quilts for missions, and other areas of service by LWML.
LWML Day at the Ft. Wayne Seminary
Would you like to be a part of the annual LWML Day at Concordia Seminary in Fort Wayne on Tuesday, October 21? The program runs from 9:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and includes a chapel service, tour of campus, lunch, guest speakers and presentations by the LWML Presidents of the Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, and Michigan Districts. We’ll leave CLC at 6:45 a.m. and return at 5:30 p.m. Please contact Mable Hankey (259-4077) if you plan to attend. The cost of lunch is $10.
