In 1976, in a growing Indianapolis suburb, 130 individuals committed themselves to spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ through Christ-centered Word and Sacrament ministry. Though a humble start, yet God the Holy Spirit has worked mightily in our midst. As Christ's name has been proclaimed, an increasing number of souls have been added to Christ's kingdom who have also committed themselves to this ministryeven to where numerous other congregations have been launched.

Now numbering 2,800 souls, our passion has only intensified to reach out into our community and beyond (Acts 1:8) with the life-saving/life-changing message of our Lord Jesus Christ. Plans for expanded ministries and future starts continue to be envisioned and implemented. With each step we take, several distinguishing characteristics help to shape our vision and direction:

  1. Personal DiscipleshipWe are a family-oriented ministry that values each and every human being (young and old alike) as an individual whom God loves and makes useful in the work of Christ's kingdom.
  2. A crucial and exciting dynamic in the life and ministry of our congregation is embracing and growing in what it means to be a fully-devoted "disciple" of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  3. Worship, the Study of God's Word, and Serviceand the fellowship that comes as a result—are among our most significant emphases.

If you do not have a church home, then we invite you to become part of our family. Here you will grow in God's grace and find your purpose and place in the body of Christ. Together, as partners in the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ, we will reach out, care for, and build people toward maturity in Christ.
