Breast Cancer Support
This is a group of women who have experienced the fears and anxieties of being diagnosed with breast cancer and who want to provide Christian care and support to others who are facing that diagnosis.
They are available to provide information regarding resources, referrals, and other information which they have found useful and helpful on their personal journeys in dealing with breast cancer.
2010 Registration for Race for the Cure Team Underway!
CLC will again host a team for Race for the Cure – this year’s race will be held on Saturday, April 17, at the IUPUI campus. Last year we had 51 members join in the fun and fellowship as we raised awareness and funds for the fight against breast cancer.
As in the past all you need to do is log onto www.komenindy.org and register under the name CARMEL LUTHERAN BREAST CANCER SUPPORT GROUP. New this year – your race day packet, including t-shirt, will be mailed directly to your home at no extra cost.
Schedules and fund raising information are available on the website. If you cannot attend and wish to donate, please visit the website and do so.
