Stewardship
[Jesus said:] "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
We love because he first loved us (1 John 4:19).
Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7).
God loves a cheerful giver because such an individual is reflecting the very character of God Himself. The God of all creation is a generous God. And He calls us to reflect His generousity as the stewards of all that He has bestowed upon us.
